Congratulations on compiling your organization’s audit package - this is a major milestone! By following the instructions below, you can share your organization’s compliance program with your selected audit partner or keep the information for internal use.

Creating an export package

From the Compliance Dashboard, choose the applicable framework, and select the “Audit Export” button at the upper right corner of the page.

The export module provides the following options for customizing your export package:

  1. Export Type:

    1. Select at least one of the following:

      1. Control Matrix CSV: a CSV mapping of the controls, evidence, and framework criteria

      2. Audit Workbook: an audit-oriented spreadsheet including an overview of controls and their associated evidence attachments, criteria coverage, and control coverage

  2. Criteria:

    1. Select at least one of the listed criteria options.

      1. Tip: Consider which criteria apply to your organization and which criteria your audience may want to focus on

  3. Evidence Attachments:

    1. Select which evidence attachments you'd like to pull from your library.

      1. All evidence attachments: exports all evidence attachments (expired and non-expired) that exist in your Evidence Repository

      2. All current (non-expired) attachments: exports all non-expired evidence attachments from your Evidence Repository

      3. Attachments effective during date range: exports evidence attachments with effective dates within the specified range

Sharing an export package

The resulting Audit Export Package is a zipped file containing:

  1. A folder of all evidence attachments selected in the previous step

  2. Optional: a CSV mapping of the controls, evidence, and framework criteria

    1. Select "Control Matrix CSV" to include this item

  3. Optional: an audit-oriented spreadsheet including an overview of controls and their associated evidence attachments, criteria coverage, and control coverage

    1. Select "Audit Workbook" to include this item

These results may be shared with interested parties at the discretion of your organization.
