AI Consumption Pricing

Understand how AI credits work for consumption-based plans

Written By Micah

Strike Graph's AI features — like Verify AI and the Security Assistant — help your team move faster by automating the tedious parts of evidence review and compliance work. You can put these AI capabilities to work through consumption-based pricing: a simple, metered model that gives you a predictable monthly budget and clear visibility into exactly how much you're using.

What is AI consumption pricing?

Consumption-based pricing lets certain plans to purchase AI credits for your organization to use with Strike Graph's AI-powered features on a metered basis. Your organization is provisioned with a monthly allotment of AI credits, and as your team uses AI features, credits are drawn from that allotment.

This keeps AI utilization both accessible and predictable. You get a clear monthly budget to work within, and a straightforward meter that shows where you stand at any point in the month.

How AI credits work

AI credits are the unit Strike Graph uses to measure AI usage. Each time your organization performs an AI-powered action, a small number of credits is counted against your monthly allotment.

A few things worth knowing about how credits are counted:

  • Different actions use different amounts of credits, based on how much AI processing is involved. Lightweight, behind-the-scenes tasks use very little, while a full document analysis uses more.

  • Only the AI features your organization uses draw credits. Features you don't have enabled, or don't use, won't count against your allotment.

  • Usage is calculated from your live activity, so the totals you see always reflect your current, up-to-the-moment usage.

What uses your AI credits

The following AI-powered activities draw on your credits when your organization uses them:

  • Verify AI: when Verify AI tests an evidence attachment on an item that has evidence testing enabled.

  • Security Assistant: when you interact with the Security Assistant.

  • Security Questionnaires: when the AI analyzes and helps draft responses to security questionnaires.

  • Evidence analysis: the background processing that reads and analyzes your evidence attachments so the AI features above can work with them accurately.

Only the AI features that are enabled for your organization will draw credits, so your usage reflects the tools your team actually relies on.

Your monthly credit allotment

Your organization's AI credits are allotted on a monthly basis. Usage is tracked per calendar month, and your full allotment refreshes at the start of each new month.

Because credits are counted from your live activity, the usage you see is always current. Keeping an eye on your allotment is especially useful during busy stretches (like audit preparation) when AI usage naturally tends to increase.

Tracking your usage

Organization Managers can monitor AI credit usage directly within Strike Graph. A usage meter shows how many credits your organization has used out of its monthly allotment, and it updates throughout the month as your team works.

If your usage reaches your monthly allotment, the meter clearly flags it, so you always know where you stand and can plan accordingly.

Credit utilization overage

We currently do not impose a hard cap on credit utilization, meaning there’s some wiggle room at the top end of your allotment. However, excessive or continued month-over-month over utilization are signals that you may need to upgrade to a higher credit pack. Access to AI features may be temporarily or permanently disabled if over utilization abuse is a concern.
