Add users and invite teammates

How to add your teammates to the Strike Graph platform

Written by Stephanie Lorraine
Updated this week

To add new users to Strike Graph, make sure that they have an email address that matches the domain name of your organization (for example, if your company emails all match the format of john.doe@xyzcompany.com, all users signing up to Strike Graph must use @xyzcompany.com email addresses).

After that, it's easy — just direct them to https://grc.strikegraph.com and ask them to sign up. When their account is created they will be added to your organization at the Contributor permission level (instead of a Manager). Learn more about permissions here!

There are a few authentication methods your teammates can use to sign into the Strike Graph platform.

1. Direct Sign Up

New users who navigate to grc.strikegraph.com will be presented with our login page. Click Sign Up, enter your email address and click the Continue button.

You will receive an email from support@strikegraph.com containing a 6-digit code.

Enter the 6-digit code to verify your identity and click continue.

Next you'll be asked to create a password.

Once you have created your password you will be able to log in.

If you still are having issues, please reach out directly to your Customer Success Manager or message our support team via the Intercom chatbot.

2. Google Sign Up

If your team runs on Google Workplace, your teammates can also Sign Up with Google and they will be automatically verified.

3. Email Invitations

Users with Manager permissions can invite other users directly from the Settings page in Strike Graph. Learn more about user permissions here.

To invite users:

  • Go to the Settings page ⚙️

  • Click on the Invite Users button

  • Enter the email address

  • Click Send Invite

An email will be sent to the user from hello@strikegraph.com, prompting them to get started.

They should click the 'Get Started' button or navigate directly to grc.strikegraph.com. They will click Sign Up and enter their email address.

A verification code will be emailed to them from support@strikegraph.com. Once they've entered the verification code they'll be able to set a password and log in.

Pending invitations will be listed in the dropdown. Once invitations are accepted, those users will not be listed in the Pending Invitations dropdown anymore. They cannot have email domains like @gmail.com, @outlook.com, etc.

Troubleshooting for Outlook Email Client

There is a known occurrence with Microsoft Outlook users receiving blank emails from Strike Graph due to Outlook settings blocking some of the information in the invitation emails. Messages will display similar to the email below:

Clicking the "If there are problems with how this message is displayed, click here to view it in a web browser" button should lead to the email properly displaying.

Strike Graph recommends opening the invite emails in browser instead of adjusting company Outlook settings.
