The Physical and Environmental Protection Policy (CMMC Level 1) establishes requirements for securing physical spaces, equipment, and access devices where FCI resides. It requires maintaining a documented list of authorized personnel, restricting physical access with locks and badge readers, escorting and logging all visitors, and actively managing physical access devices - including immediate revocation of keys and badges upon employee termination.
