Who needs a policy like this?

• Any for-profit entity doing business in California, that meets one of the following criteria:

  • Has a gross revenue greater than $25 million.

  • Annually buys, receives, sells, or shares the personal information of more than 50,000 consumers, households, or devices for commercial purposes.

  • Derives 50% or more of its annual revenues from selling consumers’ personal information.

How to use the template:

  • If you are not a Google Workplace organization, download a copy by going to File > Download and selecting your preferred file type (available as DOCX, PDF, and more)

• Review and then remove instructional text

• Save in a centralized place
